Duck Hunting
Rock Creek Hunting offers an unforgettable waterfowl hunting experience. A mixed bag of ducks early in the season, this mixed bag may include blue and green wing teal, gadwalls, shovelers, ringnecks, scaup, pintails, redheads, and mallards. In the late season, a mixed bag of mallards, greenwinged teal, redheads and Canadian geese can be harvested. Most of the waterfowl hunts are take place in Nebraska on Merritt reservoir. Late in the season all the ponds and lakes are frozen and waterfowl hunting takes place on the Niobrara River. If inquiries are early enough for waterfowl hunting, a draw system is in place for South Dakota waterfowl hunting. So that way you can hunt a mixed bag of waterfowl, grouse, pheasants and possibly even a deer, right on the ranch.

Your guide has a passion for hunting but his expertise is in waterfowl hunting. He supplies all the hunting equipment you need, including a duck boat (which is a boat with a blind on it), a large spread of duck decoys and goose decoys, and even his faithful hunting partner to help make those long retrieves. The only thing that you need to bring is a hunting license with a federal duck stamp, steel shot, your shotgun and yourself. You can ensure that your hunt will be comfortable and warm and be ready to eat some great duck boat blind food that is prepared for you right inside the duck boat.
